About APEX Collection
Our fascination with the unparalleled precision and detail with which the craftsmen at Amalgam Collection create their products, along with our years-long exclusive collaboration with the people of Amalgam Collection, are the reasons why we exclusively focus on this brand.
APEX Collection was actually established to operate in the business market. We hold an official status as a sales agent on behalf of Amalgam Collection, and our goal is to find business partners interested in collaborating with us to offer Amalgam Collection products.
However, we also want to provide individuals with the opportunity to order Amalgam Collection items (only 1:8 and 1:12 scale models) through us, while being able to ensure attractive prices.

Order & Pre-Order
Pre-Order means that an item is still in production by the manufacturer and not immediately available for shipping, but you can still place an order for it. The item will be reserved for you.
If you wish to place an order (or a Pre-Order), you can get in touch with us (via email or through our online contact form). We are here to assist you with this.
The scale models from our own collection are available for immediate delivery. The delivery of the ordered scale model will be coordinated with you via email communication, as we handle the delivery ourselves (only within the Netherlands and Belgium).
If you wish to order a scale model that we don't have in stock, it's best to contact us for an estimated delivery time (via email or through our online contact form). We will inform you about the delivery time for the specific scale model you're interested in.
Payment & Invoicing
For orders of scale models from our own collection:
Currently, we only accept bank transfers for orders of scale models from our own collection. In the future, we may consider offering iDeal as a second payment option.
For other orders and Pre-Orders:
Payment will be processed through Amalgam Collection for all other orders. They offer a variety of payment options, including bank transfers, credit cards, PayPal, etc.
Yes, that's possible. It's best to get in touch with us (via email or through our online contact form). You will need to provide us with the order information.
Shipping and Returns
Yes, all orders (except for scale models from our own collection) and Pre-Orders can be shipped internationally. The ordered item will be shipped directly to you from Amalgam Collection.
Scale models from our own collection are only delivered to customers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
For orders of scale models from our collection:
Due to the high value of the scale models, APEX Collection takes care of the delivery of scale models from our own collection. We charge a one-time fee of € 75,- for delivery within the Netherlands (excluding the Wadden Islands) and Belgium. We will bring the model to your home, place it in the desired location, and potentially take away packaging material.
For other orders and Pre-Orders:
Shipping of other orders and Pre-Orders is arranged by Amalgam Collection. Due to the size and weight of the transport packaging, shipping a 1:8 scale model costs an average of € 265,-.
If you live abroad (outside the Netherlands/Belgium or even outside the EU), it's best to get in touch with us (via email or through our online contact form), and we will inform you about the shipping costs to your country.
We do not have a physical address for visits, but it is possible to arrange a pick-up of your purchase by appointment at one of our partners.
For orders of scale models from our own collection:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to return it, that is certainly possible. Returns must be communicated in writing (via email) to APEX Collection within 14 days (this is the legal cooling-off period) after receiving the ordered items. We will then contact you to arrange a pick-up appointment (we handle the pick-up ourselves to exclude the risks of damage).
This service is not free, the cost is: € 75,- for pick-up within the Netherlands (excluding the Wadden Islands) and Belgium.
A return payment cannot be processed without the invoice or a copy of it. For refunding already paid amounts, we also need your bank account number. Customers from Belgium also need to provide the IBAN and BIC/Swift number of their bank.
Please note: the bank account number you provide for the refund must match the bank account number from which you made the payment to APEX Collection. This is to prevent potential fraud with refunds. Any already paid amounts will be refunded to you within a maximum of 14 days after we safely receive the goods back.
Goods that are not in their original condition can also be returned. A depreciation will be calculated for this. The maximum depreciation is 25%. This is based on three factors:
- Damage to the product;
- Damage or absence of the packaging;
- Breaking of the seal;
- Completeness of the product.
For other orders and Pre-Orders:
If your order is shipped from Amalgam Collection, you must follow Amalgam Collection's return policy.
If your scale models are damaged upon receipt, you must report this within 3 days to enable Amalgam Collection to process a refund/exchange, call +44 (0) 117 952 7646.
Amalgam Collection is not responsible until the returned item reaches them. Therefore, all items must be returned at your own expense using a registered service.
If a replacement item is not in stock, they will notify you by email.
It may take up to 14 days for the refund to be processed.
Loan Service
Unfortunately, no. APEX Collection's loan service is exclusively aimed at the business market within the Netherlands and Belgium.
Our loan service could be attractive for companies and business institutions that do not intend to own a scale model, but would still like to temporarily have a scale model on display for interior decoration and/or resale purposes.
A variety of examples of companies that might find our loan service interesting:
- (Auto-)hotels
- Official brand dealerships
- Dealerships dealing in exclusive cars
- Jewelers and watch boutiques
- High-tech automotive companies
We apply a fee of 1.75% of the recommended retail value of the object(s) being rented as the rental amount.
An example calculation:
If the recommended retail price of a scale model is € 10,000 incl. VAT, the monthly rent would be € 175 excl. VAT.
In addition, we charge a one-time fee of € 150 for transportation and service for delivery and pick-up within the Netherlands (excluding the Wadden Islands) and Belgium.
Yes, the minimum is 6 months. Additionally, you have the option to extend in 6-month increments.
If you are very pleased with the scale model and wish to acquire it, that is certainly possible.
If you decide to purchase the rented object, we can offer you a discount (a portion of the paid rent will be returned).
Customization Service
Amalgam Collection offers a unique custom service for 1:8 scale models. They are capable of creating a beautifully detailed model that replicates every aspect of your car's specifications. The model is finished with the exact paint color and interior finishes. Even the smallest details, such as the color of the seat stitching, license plates, wheels—every visible aspect of your car—is perfectly reproduced on your model.
Yes. Building a detailed model that is fully tailored to specific customer preferences requires a specialized approach.
Unfortunately, we cannot specify the additional cost compared to a 'standard' model in advance.
If you wish to use Amalgam Collection's unique customization service and want to know the exact price, please feel free to contact us (via email or our online contact form).
Amalgam Collection's close relationship with car manufacturers allows them to access paint and other important options and specification data, enabling them to match every detail to your car's exact specification. In short, they create a model for you that perfectly reflects every detail of the precious original.
The entire process works as follows: we will request complete specifications, views, and photos (if applicable) of the car to be modeled. We forward this information to a specialized team within Amalgam Collection, who will provide you with a quote for building the model. Upon acceptance of the quote, an order is placed, and a non-refundable 50% deposit is requested. After receiving this deposit and confirming the specifications, the build time is scheduled in our workshop's calendar for your model. Custom-made model delivery times are approximately 35 weeks after receiving the deposit, although this may vary. Upon completion of the model, a complete portfolio of images will be sent to you for final approval. Only when the model meets your expectations, the remaining balance will be requested. Subsequently, the model undergoes a final quality control and is carefully prepared for shipment by our global logistics team. The model is tracked and insured for extra security using our selected international courier partners and is delivered to its new home to be displayed as you wish.
